Tate Liverpool

Tate Liverpool’s Capital of Culture exhibition, the DLA Piper Series: The Twentieth Century – How It Looked and How It Felt. The gallery required a book, which would be sold in the Tate shop. The book had to complement the exhibition.

Solution

The book had a high volume of information as well as reproductions of the art featured in the exhibition. It had to be structured in such a way as to allow visitors to use it as a quick reference guide (as well as a keepsake). The book style followed the exhibition graphic style, with colour coded sections for easy navigation.

"Glorious have captured the essence of Tate Liverpool’s major collection displays for the European Capital of Culture year, providing a striking and sensitive design."
Christoph Grunenberg
Director, Tate Liverpool
