The Brief

The owner of one of Manchester’s oldest established traditional barbers wanted to give his customers a gift to commemorate completing 40 years in the business.

Our Response

We came up with the idea of a commemorative calendar, to be given as a gift to long-standing customers. The calendar was held in a slipcase so that when it was withdrawn it created the visual illusion of a barber’s pole rotating. As most customers were city professionals the calendar ran over the financial year, from April to April.

The Outcome

A delighted client and a host of National and International creative awards.
