The Brief

Many NHS organisations face a continual challenge when it comes to recruiting and retaining staff at all levels of experience. We were tasked with creating a memorable and easy to use website and supporting material that would aid in HPFT’s recruitment drive.

 

Our Response

We took inspiration from HPFT’s existing ‘As One’ brand. By utilising the kite as a metaphor for progression and achievement, potential staff are encouraged to take their career to new heights.

This was delivered primarily through a website which embraced the geographical spread of Trusts under HPFT’s control. Furthermore, we created a series of staff ‘day in the life’ films which captured their passion and commitment – inspiring future employees to consider starting or developing their career with HPFT. In addition, we compiled a comprehensive image library that showcased staff going about their daily business.

The Outcome

Within its first year, the results were evident. The recruitment drive showed a 24% net increase in staff and the vacancy rate reduced from 17% to 11.99% as a whole, which was a very positive achievement.
