Create a brand identity and promotional material for The Young Interior Design Award, the first national award scheme for students studying interior design and architectural design degrees. The first prize is £10,000 and a six-months paid internship at Janine Stone Interior and Architectural Design.
The brand identity was based on the initials YIDA, made up of three-dimensional perspectives of an internal space and the light and shade created within an interior. The promotional material featured the YIDA logo made up from a whole range of furnishing and decorative materials from velvets and leathers to wood and metallic finishes.
There has been a positive response from universities, with a growing number incorporating the award into their third year curriculum. Now in its fourth year YIDA has grown in size and stature gaining invaluable coverage for its creators and sponsors Janine Stone Interior and Architectural Design.
