The HAT Project

The Brief

The requirement was to create an identity, an exhibition catalogue, exhibition graphics and support materials for an international exchange scheme involving craft makers in the UK and Australia

Solution

The identity was created from pieces of masking tape to connect to the craft theme of the exchange scheme. The major promotional item was created in the form of a scrap book, with an eclectic mix of different formats, fold outs and mini brochures, containing essays and profiles to chart the progress of each craft maker.

Result

Sixteen craft makers, two art galleries, the Arts Council England and the Australia council proclaimed HAT an outstanding success – with special mentions for the marketing campaign.
