Buxton Festival

Buxton Festival is celebrated as one of the UK’s best arts festivals, receiving praise in the national broadsheets, winning a silver in the National Tourism Awards. As part of an on-going initiative to ‘raise the bar’ in marketing terms, Glorious were commissioned to review and redesign all Festival literature and promotional material.

Solution

The literature integrates the new brand identity, and utilises supplied photography to great effect. The material is structured in a contemporary manner, retaining some elements of tradition, so as not to alienate the existing core audience, whilst trying to appeal to a new, younger target market.

The Festival is already showing record sales in its literary series and more sell outs in the opera and music events than ever before.
