Teacher’s pet
It’s always satisfying when a plan comes together, especially when it’s an 18 month project to rebrand one of the most well known names in private education.
So, when the new signage went up at Merchant Taylors’ Schools in Crosby, our design team made themselves a brew and cracked open the Hob Nobs.
‘Merchants’, for those who don’t know, is Liverpool’s leading independent school. The brief was to bring all four schools together, retain the 400 year old heritage, while modernising the Schools and present it as the beacon of dynamic, forward-thinking education that it is. We worked with the College of Arms to agree the redesign of the coat of arms and the marketing director to formulate a strategy which included identity, stationery, signage, advertising, prospectus, photography, vehicle livery, uniforms and even room decor. And they were pleased.
