Urbis’s latest exhibition features the work of Emory Douglas, active member of the Black Panther Party and graphic designer of the Black Panther’s, ‘Black Community News Service’. His arresting bold style and provocative slogans, helped to empower and motivate black communities during a time of civil unrest and upheaval, in the 1960’s and 70’s. A UK premier, the exhibition runs from the 30th October 08 until March 09.
